Hey there Reader!
We're halfway through Q4, Google's got an update going & just resolved an analytics issue, and the holidays are quickly approaching!
I've got a quick tip for you today that is small but life-changing 😅
Okay it may not change lives, but it does eliminate confusion that can come with recipe notes + serving size adjustments, which makes for recipe success + happy readers!
I didn't know about this until someone mentioned it in our food blog community. There's always so much to learn from one another!
Did you know you can make any numbers in your WordPress Recipe Maker (WPRM) recipe cards adjustable*?
Peep the "about X whole mints" in the Andes mints notes 👀
The trick? A simple shortcode!
There's a little button at the bottom of the page when you're editing the recipe card...
Place your cursor where you want the adjustable number to go, click on the Add Adjustable Shortcode button, and type the number between the brackets!
You can use this adjustable shortcode pretty much anywhere in the recipe card - equipment, ingredients, instructions, recipe notes, etc!
I can't believe I didn't realize this sooner 😅 WPRM has so many features!
*One caveat: I believe you need at least the Premium bundle of WPRM for the adjustable servings feature. I have & recommend the Pro bundle for its unit conversions and nutrition info!
What's your favorite WPRM feature??
